Nevada CPA Foundation for Education and Research
The Nevada CPA Foundation for Education and Research was founded in 1969.
Since 1970, it has awarded funding for scholarships every year to Nevada’s universities and community colleges to support and encourage students in their study of accounting and in their pursuit of the CPA license. The Foundation also makes contributions to accounting student organizations to support other accounting education related events. In addition, the Foundation has provided financial support for NVCPA educational endeavors, such as our financial literacy efforts.
Who Provides the Foundation’s Financial Support?
NVCPA Members make individual tax deductible contributions to the Foundation, generally in connection with their annual dues billing, though contributions may be made throughout the year. The NVCPA also holds fundraisers to help support Foundation activities.
